Depuis 2016, ce cycle de recherches explore les processus d’effacement, de transformation et de mémoire à travers le végétal.
Dans BOTANIQUE#DISPARITIONS2, la disparition ne concerne plus seulement le motif végétal mais le papier lui-même. Les fibres sont progressivement mises à nu, révélant leurs textures, leurs transparences et leurs nervures. D’anciennes planches botaniques réinventées semblent émerger d’une matière devenue presque impalpable. Traversées par la lumière, elles dévoilent la radiographie sous-jacente, amorçant un dialogue entre le végétal, le corps humain et la mémoire inscrite dans la matière.

Since 2016, this body of work has explored processes of erasure, transformation, and memory through the botanical world.
In BOTANIQUE#DISPARITIONS2, disappearance no longer affects only the botanical motif, but the paper itself. Its fibers are gradually laid bare, revealing their textures, translucencies, and veins. Reinvented botanical plates seem to emerge from a material that has become almost immaterial. Illuminated by light, they reveal the underlying X-ray, initiating a dialogue between the plant world, the human body, and the memory embedded within matter.
