‘’ Évanescences botaniques’’ est une série en constante évolution qui explore la mémoire du vivant à travers l’effacement progressif de la matière.
Gravé, fragilisé puis presque dissous, le papier révèle peu à peu la radiographie qu’il recouvre, faisant apparaître un dialogue entre le corps humain et le monde végétal.
Inspirées de planches botaniques anciennes, de photographies de fleurs et de motifs textiles réemployés, ces œuvres évoquent la fragilité des écosystèmes et la disparition silencieuse du vivant. Entre palimpseste et fouille archéologique, chaque pièce conserve les traces d’une mémoire en voie d’effacement.

‘’Botanical Evanescences ‘’ is an evolving body of work that explores the memory of the living world through the gradual disappearance of matter.
Engraved, weakened and almost dissolved, the paper gradually reveals the X-ray beneath its surface, creating a dialogue between the human body and the plant world.
Inspired by antique botanical plates, photographs of flowers and repurposed floral textile patterns, these works evoke the fragility of ecosystems and the silent disappearance of the living world. Between palimpsest and archaeological excavation, each piece preserves the traces of a memory in the process of fading.
