Installation modulable à partir de radiographies d’os et d’organes, scanners, IRM , prothèses et panoramiques dentaires.
Des corps morcelés, après avoir subi dissections, transplantations et greffes, sont reconstitués selon une anatomie de l’impossible pour recréer une nouvelle espèce mutante d’aliens à l’enveloppe charnelle ectoplasmique. Chacun garde la mémoire d’une tranche de vie, d’un vécu, d’une présence non identifiable. A la fois par l’anonymat et par notre incapacité à déchiffrer ces images ils nous entrainent à la limite du regard et de la connaissance. Rien n’est à sa place mais pourtant tout semble pouvoir fonctionner. Perforations, fils rouges ou transparents évoquent des incisions-cicatrices-coutures qui mettent en relation les gestes du chirurgien et ceux du plasticien textile. By a game of repetitions and formal analogies, this work proposes an anatomy of the impossible through a new X Rays art approach. It reminds the similar action between a surgeon and a textile artist when cutting up, gathering and sewing shrugs. This installation, virtually monochrome playing with white, grey and black shades of X rays, scanners and magnetic resonance imagery shows various webs of spots through more or less transparent passages of light or black dullness. The sewing by transparent nylon or colour cotton threads suggests incisions, scars and needle works of surgery interventions. Shapes of sewing and choice of colour are made in function of pain, blood, nerves, bones or organs that constitute each body made with one of these categories.
