L’aspect scientifique (posture des corps et gravité), le contexte sociétal (période de pandémie, de confinement, attentats et guerres) sont à l’origine de cette œuvre.

Elle évoque la fragilité d’une humanité qui bascule dans le vide, la disparition progressive, de notre espèce, au ralenti. Un arrêt sur image…le temps de nous questionner sur notre avenir ?

 

Face à la dramaturgie de cette chute humaine, à sa densité oppressante, une autre chute y est également présentée, en hommage à Dame Nature, car comment parler de l’homme sans parler de son environnement ?

Contemplation méditative poétique, sur le cycle immuable des saisons, ce temps qui passe inexorablement et clin d’œil à Aristote et Galilée dans ce lâcher de galets de fils, et plumes en radiographie où quelques papillons qui s’envolent…

 

The scientific aspect (body posture and gravity), the societal context (period of pandemic, lockdown, terrorist attacks and wars) are at the origin of this work. It evokes the fragility of a humanity that falls into space, the gradual disappearance of our species, in slow motion. A freeze-frame … the time to question ourselves about our future?

Faced with the dramaturgy of this human fall, with its oppressive density, another fall is also presented, opposite, in tribute to Mother Nature. How to speak of man without speaking of his environment? A serene and poetic meditative contemplation, on the unchanging cycle of the seasons, this inexorably passing time and a nod to Aristotle and Galileo in this release of threads pebbles and x-ray feathers, where a few butterflies fly away …
