‘’ Ici, ailleurs ‘’ revisite une oeuvre récente ‘’ Mémoire de pierres ‘’.
L’introduction d’un personnage modifie l’échelle des rochers.
Un même volume, est ouvert, selon un pan différent, évoquant des portes ou fenêtres percées dans les murs d’une d’architecture déconstruite.
On pénètre ainsi dans l’intimité de ces blocs habitacles, refuges en osmose avec la nature.
Un monde imaginaire entre caverne, grotte, habitation troglodyte qui nous révèle les secrets de la roche et nous raconte l’histoire des lieux à travers les traces d’humains, d’insectes et de végétaux figés dans le minéral.

The introduction of a character changes the scale of the rocks.
The same volume is open, on a different side, evoking doors or windows pierced in the walls of a deconstructed architecture.
We enter the intimacy of these blocks, refuges in harmony with nature.
An imaginary world between cavern, grotto, troglodyte dwelling which reveals to us the secrets of the rock and tells us the history of the place through the traces of humans, insects and plants taken in the mineral.

In her modular installation, Brigitte returns to her earlier work ‘’Memory of stones’’. Pondering on the memories stones might hold, she imaginatively deconstructs them to reveal a narrative within .
The artwork is crafted from engraved paper and threads, occasionally incorporating elments such as X Rays, veils or horsehair. With each creation , Brigitte explores the fine line between the familiar and the foreign.
If the stones of our home could speak, what tales would they tell ?
